Beamer
The beamer model is LC-XIP2000Output device
For output we use a projector with a resolution of 1024 * 768 pixels. The picture is screened onto a wooden panel.
Nerdy Stuff
The beamer has a resolution of 1024x768 pixels, but the kinect has only a resolution of 640x480.
The blocks used to build towers in the game are made of wood and have the Real world objects
With the help of the Kinect, we recognize wooden blocks with the overall dimension of 54mm * 54mm * 54mm.
Booth
We used a former construction for our game, which includes a sandbox(game) on a table. The projector and Kinect are attached to the sandbox.
Engine & Frameworks
We use Unity 4.6 5, which is a powerful and easy-to-use game engine, in combination with the ZigFu-Kinect plug-in, which helps us with the recognition of the blocks.
